TF164B Air Permeability Tester
Description: The TF164B Air Permeability Tester measures the resistance of fabrics (woven, knitted, and non-woven textile materials) to the passage of air under a constant preset air pressure while firmly clamped in a test rig with a selected test head/area. The specimen is loaded into the test area using an automatic holder, and the test starts by pressing down the holder. A vacuum pump draws air through an interchangeable test head with a circular opening, maintaining a pre-selected test pressure. The air permeability is digitally displayed on a touch panel in the chosen unit of measure after a few seconds, or the next required test nozzle is indicated. The holder is released, and the vacuum pump shuts off after the test.
