The specimen is loaded into the test area using an automatic holder, and the test starts by pressing down the holder. A vacuum pump draws air through an interchangeable test head with a circular opening, maintaining a pre-selected test pressure. The air permeability is digitally displayed on a touch panel in the chosen unit of measure after a few seconds, or the next required test nozzle is indicated.
