TF417 Gas Fume Chamber
Description: The TF417 Gas Fume Chamber tests the color fastness of textiles exposed to atmospheric oxides of nitrogen from burnt gas fumes. A textile specimen and a test control fabric are exposed simultaneously until the control shows a color change matching the standard of fading. The specimen’s color change is assessed using a standard grayscale. The chamber includes a testing chamber, burning and control chamber, rotating sample rack, standardized gas burner, test duration timer, and exhaust port (connectable to an extractor system). Temperature is digitally set and controlled via a closed-loop PLC system, with safety features like automatic ignition and gas leakage detection.
