The burning rate must not exceed 1.2 in./s, based on the average of five lengthwise and five transverse determinations, with the specimen placed at a 45° angle and exposed to a standardized flame (22# fire nozzle, 1/2 inch in length). It features an advanced thread locking device and sample holder for 80% faster operation.
